Spiritual Disciplines for Everyday Life
SHORT COURSE
The Christian life is a life centred like Jesus; knowing who he is and becoming like him. We regularly hear about the importance of having spiritual disciplines in our lives to help us do this – things like bible reading, prayer, and fellowship. But often these things can feel hard, whether it’s knowing where to start or struggling to find them fruitful and enjoyable.
That is why we are running our next short course – Spiritual Disciplines for Everyday Life – over three weeks in June.
Wednesday Nights, 7-8:30pm
11th, 18th, and 25th June
@ Barneys
This course is for anyone who calls themself a follower of Jesus, whether you are new to faith, or you have a few years (or decades) of following Jesus under your belt. Over three weeks we’ll look at why spiritual disciplines are a valuable part of the Christian life, and how we can implement them to help deepen our faith and Christian growth. We’ll specifically think about Bible Reading, Prayer, and Fellowship (along with other similar practices), and how we might endeavour to put them into practice in ways that are helpful, fruitful, and joy giving.
Speak to Hamish if you have any questions.
