Jesus & Friends (in that order)
These are the two things Barneys Youth loves the most.
Barneys Youth provides an opportunity for high schoolers to explore faith in Jesus, ask real questions, and think hard about the issues facing young people.
Barneys Youth is a community of young people that loves fun adventures, life in the city and genuine friendship. Everyone is welcome.
We meet early on Friday evenings and Sunday Mornings.
Coming along for the first time?
You are more than welcome to simply drop in on Friday or Sunday. If you would like to register your child or let us know you are coming please register here.
Friday Nights | 5-7pm (Including Dinner)
The church building is open for youth to come hang out from 4pm.
If you go to school in the city, live in the city or just love the city, Barneys Youth is for you. But getting about in the city can be challenging, especially if you or your friends live further out, or if your parents are dropping you off.
To make getting to Barneys Youth easier the church is open from 4pm with spaces to kick a football, do homework, play video-games or just chat. Many of our youth come straight from school. There are plenty of different school uniforms at Barneys Youth!
At 5pm we do an activity together and Youth kicks off officially.
After some fun shenanigans we continue to enjoy hanging out, and a meal together, together with some challenging and relevant Bible teaching.
Friday Youth finishes at 8pm. Entry via Mountain St. Cost is $3 per week.
Sunday Mornings | 10-11:30am (runs concurrently with 10am Church)
On Sunday morning there is a program for kids in Year 6 to 7. Barneys Youth on Sunday runs during morning church with the youth starting in the service with their families. The Sunday program includes craft, discussion groups, milkshakes and great Bible teaching, it is perfect for younger teenagers.
If you would like to find out more simply come along on Friday or Sunday or contact Johnny Condie here or on 02 9211 3496
Barneys Youth have two camps each year; Barneys Winter Camp in the July school holidays, and Barneys Summer camp at the start of the summer holidays.
Camps are a great time to enjoy random activities, chilling out and experiencing the life changing message of Jesus. Everyone is welcome, year 6-12 (or equivalent). In fact, many youth join us at our camps for their first experience of Barneys Youth.
Barneys Winter Camp (3rd-7th July)

Barneys Summer Camp (date TBA)
On summer Camp Barneys youth take advantage of the warmth and head to the beach for a weekend to hang out.
Summer Camp is a time for youth to relax, build relationships, encourage each other, and just enjoy being young rascals.
Barneys Youth is a place for young people to work out what it means to live for Jesus. It’s a place to raise issues under the guidance and care of a committed leadership team.
All Youth leaders complete Child Protection training through Anglican Youthworks and have received a NSW Working with Children check number.
We charge a small amount for Barneys Youth on Friday to cover the costs of food (dinner and supper) and activities.
Fridays: $35 per term
For your convenience you can pay for the whole year and save $10.
