Barneys International Justice Mission Dinner and Prayer Gathering

  • IJM Dinner and Prayer Gathering
    June 7, 2017
    6:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Come and join your Growth Group over a delicious meal and fellowship together. You will be seated in table groups. After dinner we will listen to Jacob Sarkodee from the International Justice Mission (IJM) to learn about its work around the world, and particularly in the Philippines. We will also spend time praying together for its work. Jacob is IJM Advancement Manager, fresh from a trip to the Philippines looking at IJM’s caseworks on sex trafficking.

IJM is a Christian NGO whose goals are: “Rescue thousands. Protect millions. Prove justice for the poor is possible”. The poor in the developing countries have been entrapped in a brutal system of slavery and everyday violence. More than 45 million people are held as slaves and nearly two million children are exploited in the commercial sex industry. IJM partners with local authorities to rescue the victims, bring criminals to justice, restore survivors and strengthen justice systems. IJM Australia joins in this mission globally and works locally to grow the movement of Australians seeking justice for the oppressed.

If you are not currently in a Growth Group, feel free to register and we will assign you to a table group.
