You’re invited to a dinner party that makes a difference. Feast for Freedom is a shared food experience in aid of people seeking asylum. Held throughout Australia, it is a celebration of the flavours and cultural diversity that people seeking asylum bring to Australia.
We will be meeting on the 24th April at 5.30. If you would like to contribute to the work of the ASRC please feel free to bring a donation on the night. If you are able would you also mind helping us cover the cost of dinner by bringing $8 along on the night. As Christians we are called to welcome the foreigner, love our neighbours and help those in need. We are launching our City Group by partnering with the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (ASRC) for this event. We’ll be hosting a Feast and cooking recipes gifted by real people who sought asylum right here in Australia to help raise funds for the ASRC. They support people and families with their basic food, housing and medical needs during their journey to safety and freedom; as well as advocating for a fair, just and welcoming Australia.
