Zhen's Story

Around four years ago, when I lived in China, I started reading books about all kinds of religions. At that time I was just very curious about what there is to life apart from making money.

Two years ago I came to Australia, and my friend Lilian invited me to church. This was definitely a new thing for me. After that I started reading the Bible by myself, going to church regularly and taking part in Bible studies.

I'll never forget the day of 24 January 2007, when Caro was talking about John 3:16: For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life! I listened very carefully, it really moved me and I knew I had found just what I needed! I didn't believe in miracles before, but now I do because my life has been changed.

I am less worried about lots of things than before; sometimes I used to get in big trouble and felt very depressed. I know I have been given a peaceful and joyful heart by God. I believe God created an amazing world for us and organised everything perfectly!

So I don't need to worry about anything any more, because I am in his warm arms and he will look after me any time, and everywhere!
