Jayne & Neil Chambers (nee Campbell)

Thanks for the opportunity to share something of our experience at Barney's.

One of the most significant things for us about Barney's was that Neil and I met and married there. Regrettably our last service  was in fact our marriage. (Neil was interested in Presbyterian ministry and we needed to be attending a Pressy Church!).

We left in December 1983.

Though I was a Christian when I first attended Barney's the focus on the bible and its authority and the commitment and faith in Jesus alone demonstrated and taught  by many ( especially those on staff - Peter J, Allan B, Robert F, Deb Sugars, Rosie P, Adrian L etc) was a great model and encouragement. I am reminded to again that God for that privilege.

We, Jayne and Neil live in Melbourne where we have been for the last 8 years.  Neil is the pastor of the Bundoora Presbyterian Church. We have three children Ruth (currently in France), Stephen and Emily ( uni students).
