We're a passionate, supportive community with a great kickoff programme.  Settle into the inner city, find a place where you belong & are always welcome as you are, explore your spirituality and the claims of Jesus or join us in our mission to overflow with generosity to the world.

Every year, we run two courses over 5 weeks which grow into little communities.  Those looking to find out more about Jesus join Simply Christianity, exploring the life and teaching of the most influential figure in the history of the world.  Those thinking about making Barneys their church in the city join Life to the City, an exploration of the blessing and responsibility of being much more than attendees, being partners of a church like Barneys in a great city like Sydney. 

United in Prayer - Wed 14 September

At Barneys, we believe the God of the universe loves to answer prayer, and so prayer is the most powerful agency we can have in the world.  We love to pray for global and local needs, the spread of God's kingdom and the brokenness in each other's lives.  Four times each year, everything else is cancelled on a Wed night and the whole church comes together on its knees.
