If we’re honest, there are lots of questions we still have about God. Perhaps the most consistent - and painful - is how God allows suffering, evil, and violence to be part of His mission in the world. Chris Wright, International Director of Langham Partnership, Old Testament scholar, and award-winning author of The Mission of God will be sharing some of the honest, Biblical insights into this question, and beginning to unravel where evil does fit in God’s great mission.
Special location: Knox Lecture Theatre, 15 King St

At Barneys, we welcome questions and dialogue. We believe in wrestling with all the issues. In 2010, there will be a regular series of Question Times shortly after the service. Everyone is welcome. No question is out-of-bounds. We don't stop until the last question has been asked (and the last answer attempted!) |
