Barneys Youth

Barneys has a fantastic youth program which connects high school students into God's community and encourages them to entrust their lives to Jesus as their Lord and Saviour in everything.

Fridays

Barneys Youth meet on Friday nights during school term for genuine youth community, challenging and relevant Bible teaching, and some fun shenanigans. 7-9:30pm at 35 Arundel St, Forest Lodge.

 Sundays

We meet on Sundays during school term for smaller discipleship groups and dinner. 5-6:30pm at 15 King St Newtown. Most of our students also attend the 6:30pm Service. For dinner, a member of the congregation cooks and to cover the costs of this food, parents of Barneys Youth kids contribute either per term or per year.

Camps

BAD Youth have two camps each year. KYCK which is held in April and Barneys Winter Camp which is held in the middle of July (9-13th). More details for Barneys Winter Camp are coming soon. Barneys Youth will be attending KYCK2 which is on 20-22nd April.

Contributions

The cost of Barneys After Dark is covered by the generous contribution of our regular attenders. The cost for Friday supper and activities is $20 per term and Sunday dinners costs $30 per term for meals.

Leaders

We want to provide young people with a place to work out what it means to live for Jesus and raise issues under the guidance and love of a committed leadership team. All Youth leaders complete Child Protection training through Anglican Youthworks and all have signed a NSW Working with Children Volunteer Declaration.
